At first I said I wouldn’t buy the S’more the merrier set, but after seeing all of the amazing cards people made with it, I caved. I was just in time, because soon after I bought it the first batch was sold out. And even though I had to pay extra to import it, I’m glad I did. I just fell in love with it! I didn’t have a set with a fire yet and I love the fox, hedgehog and owl, so I’m sure I will be able to make other cards with these stamps as well. Before knowing what card I would make I just stamped and colored as many images as I could to build a scene around the campfire. As I sat outside to color my images I got the idea to make an extended shadow box card, like Megan Quinn has shown on her socials. I used some scraps to figure out what size the outer panel needed to be and if those slimline stitched hillside borders would work on the entire panel. I played around with my colored and die cut images, to figure out how all of the little scenes would work together on the card. And when I had it all figured out I started filming. You will see me adding a few extra grassy hills to cover every side of the card, I stamped some more trees and music notes for the front of the card and you might notice there are a few stamped images I didn’t use after all. I’m so happy with how this card turned out and I hope you will enjoy the video.
For those of you who want to know the size of the outer panel: I cut my cardstock at 27,2 by 7 centimeters, which is about 10 ¾ by 2 ¾ in inches.
