I know, another unicorn card?! Yes! I thought they would look really cool having a fun day at the beach. So one is swimming, one is surfing, one has just come back from surfing and the fourth one is chilling in the sun with a cocktail. I made some beautiful blue waves and a soft sandy beach. The palm trees on the side make me wish I was on this beach! This scene took me back to my honeymoon on the Bahamas. What a lovely time my husband and I had there!
At first I wanted to make the unicorn surf with a magnet behind him, but that plan didn’t work as well as I had hoped. My magnets were either too big and bulky or too strong and then the unicorn would be going in circles. And it was also damaging the cardstock. So after some thought, I came up with the idea to move him yourself by playing with a little bit of firm acetate. And I think I like this even better! This card would be perfect for a child to play with, but I can imagine that even some grownups would have fun with it!
I’ve created this card for the new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 81: Summertime Fun.
