I can’t believe it but this is already my last official post for the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog. I hope I was able to inspire you these past four months and I want to thank Vanessa for the opportunity and wish the new design team the best of luck and a lot of fun.
For today’s card I’m going with a fall themed card. It’s almost September and I’m starting to see some signs that fall is near. I grabbed my flippin’ awesome die, because I hardly ever use it and it’s so much fun. I created little mini scenes of squirrels. On the first flap the squirrel is slowly watching the trees go from green to orange. Then as soon as they start to fall off, he gets his buddy to get ready for winter. While one is gathering acorns, the other is raking the leaves into a giant pile. On the last flap you see one squirrel jumping out of the pile of leaves and you see the sentiment happy fall as the other squirrel walks away with a huge pile of acorns. I really loved creating this scene and I’ll take you through the materials and steps on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog.
