My new Mama Elephant stamps have been sitting on my desk for a while now, but I just couldn’t figure out how I could create what I had planned in my mind. I knew I wanted to do something with the critters reading and fantasizing about space, but the colors and shapes I started using just didn’t do it for me. After a few attempts I came back to it today and suddenly everything fell into place. I used speckled egg, peacock feathers and chipped sapphire to make this gorgeous background. I got the idea to blend these three colors form Kristina Werner
(http://www.kwernerdesign.com/blog/new-2020-oxide-ink-blending-combos-speckled-egg/).
I used the new Lawn Fawn brick stencil to give the background a super cool look.
I don’t have a sentiment on my card yet, because I am hoping my go to online store will be able to get me the Good Reads stamps. So until then I just left it blank.
I am so happy with this result. You can watch my video to see how I made it. I hope you’ll enjoy!
